Dingle Hillwalking Club Open Day Sunday November 4th( in conjunction with the Ray Darcy Show on RTE Radio 1 )

Open Invitation: Have you often thought about joining a hillwalking club but just never got around to it, or were afraid that you might not be able to keep up with the group? Well now is your chance to try it out. We are hosting an informal open day to encourage people to come on a walk with us and get a flavour of what we are about. Raingear and Walking boots recommended ,but boots not essential for this walk.A strong pair of walking shoes or runners will suffice.

Walk Details:  Classification: Easy/ low level; Distance: 8kms ; Duration 2.5-3 hours including breaks; Height gain: Minimal

ROUTE: Start at the Blasket centre and follow a combination of Lúb na Cille and the Dingle Way via An Ghraig and Clogher before returning via Ceann Sraithe (Clogher Head) along the cliffs,passing by the “Ryans Daughter Schoolhouse ” building and back to the cars

Club members will be on hand to chat about the club and advise on all aspects of hillwalking – It really is therapy for the mind and body!!

Looking forward to meeting a few new faces on the day. NO obligation or pressure to join the club. Everybody is entitled to and encouraged to come on 3 club walks before making a decision as to whether or not to join.
